The landscapes in Ubatuba are impressive. The encounter of Serra do Mar with the ocean forms stunning scenarios in the region.

Eco-tourism is another good option. The Serra do Mar Park, created in 1977, in the north of Ubatuba, is the largest park in São Paulo and there are areas of preservation of the Atlantic Forest.
Ubatuba is 234 km from São Paulo and 324 km from Rio de Janeiro, bordering,
to the north, with Paraty.

UBATUBA BEACHES
With more than 120 beaches to visit, Ubatuba is a real
gift of nature.
It is recommended during high season to go and visit the beaches early in the morning and return early in the afternoon to avoid traffic jams,
which are frequent in high season.
The subdivision of the 3 regions of Ubatuba Sul, Centro and Norte offer different scenarios where you can discover lively beaches with an infrastructure of kiosks and deserted areas.
Ubatuba is frequented by surfers from all over Brazil, Ubatuba is called the surfing capital of Brazil, where it is possible to find waves of up to 3 meters.

UBATUBA CITY TOURS
Ubatuba the city center and its history.
Casarão do Porto —
Cultural center Praça Anchieta —, 1846 trading point for agricultural products that passed through the Port of Ubatuba.
Paço Nóbrega, where the Secretary of Tourism of Ubatuba currently works.
Praça Anchieta, Praça Matriz, Igreja Matriz de Ubatuba (Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross).
The church marks the moment when Ubatuba received a new port and the population grew, requiring the construction of a new headquarters.

Inaugurated in 1991, Ubatuba was the first base installed by TAMAR in a feeding area for sea turtles on the Brazilian coast.
It is the only one in the state and one of the most important, next to Fernando de Noronha and Praia do Forte.
The TAMAR Museum in Ubatuba receives, on average, 100 thousand people a year.
It has a complete infrastructure for environmental education, information, leisure, including tanks and aquariums, an auditorium with 30 seats, space for exhibitions,
shop and cafeteria.

THE ISLANDS OF UBATUBA
In Ubatuba, in addition to the wonderful coast, it is possible to find beautiful tropical islands, which are worth visiting. The islands can be reached by boats organized by locals, at affordable prices.
The most visited islands of the Ubatuba archipelago that can receive tourists are:

UBATUBA SPORT
Ubatuba is very frequented by nautical sportsmen:
Surfing: Ubatuba has beaches with waves for international championships such as Itamambuca, and some with excellent waves such as Praia Vermelha do Norte, Sapê,
Toninhas and Praia Grande, among many others. Every year an international surfing competition is held on Itamambuca beach.
Sailing: Sailing is practiced on Saco da Ribeira beach and the Ubatuba region is rich in islands, seas, winds, sheltered waters and quick access to the high seas.
Skate: Ubatuba has a great track for skateboarding beginners and professionals, it contains halfs, quarters, stairs, among other obstacles.
This runway is located on Avenida Iperoig, downtown, opposite the airport. And there are also several other mini-ramps around the city,
such as those in the neighborhood of Ranário, Itamambuca and Jardim Carolina.
