The Weeping Grotto
This is a differentiated and unique beach in many ways, internationally recognized as one of the best beaches in the world for skimboarding, due to the characteristic of its natural formation, which provides differentiated waves. In the right corner of the beach there is a cave known as “Gruta que Chora”, because of the drops of water that constantly fall from its slopes.
How to get:
Easy access via the BR-101 highway, at KM 63.8. Entering a signposted secondary road, it follows a curious and well-known sequence of curves to the right and left. Or through the left corner of Praia do Lázaro, for approximately 200mts.
